I tried to donate a charcoal Weber grill yesterday in South Tacoma and the gal \in charge\ said no thanks, it has some rust on the grill. I guess they want brand new grills. Any grill that has been used will not look pristine. When you drive up to the donation side, sign says “For your safety and ours, please stay in your vehicle.” So I sat in my car while being ignored by the guy standing there then he annoyingly acknowledged me and asked what I wanted. I said I had a grill to donate then he looked annoyed he had to open my tail gate door. Again, the employees must not know what the sign says. I will donate to St. Vincent de Paul from now on. Their staff is friendly, polite, and appreciative when I donate. Their prices are also better than Habitat.

woman at the counter acted like i was putting her out.. she was very rude and pushy while i was checking out.. i asked her a few times what prices were and acted offended that i inquired.. i love this store and been coming for years, and have never ran into this here. horrible customer service for a place that receives purely donated items..

Tacoma, Wa. Habitat for Humanity is a great way to donate items & purchase various items. I bought 3 gallons of their brand of paint & refurbished our garage. The paint covered over all stains. The house was built in 1973 & had dirty tan sheet rock. After painting a warm white, the garage looks bigger & smells cleaner.
