I have a heart for the Military as the daughter of a Marine and a mother of Air Force & Marine vets, I noticed the DAV sign in their front yard,on my way to my new church,this past Sunday and went there to the that DAV Tacoma to write down the info from the signs, A's I am interested in volunteering. Tried starting my claim but I was told to send PII over Gmail, not safely in person and decided this place wasn't for me. Not only is my information at risk but my family's info aswell. I also felt rushed and uncomfortable of how overwhelmed this guy sounded

If you expect this place to respect your service as a service connected disabled veteran you'll be disappointed. The guy there doesn't want to bother listening to a short summary of your case and sarcastically stated he didnt need to hear a book despite his book of rambling gibberish on very obvious things like your dd 214 and medical records...but no time for details so we dont waste our time traveling there for nothing. To be frank, he doesn't know his butt from a hole in the ground. I did my two initial claims myself and prevailed with both but I have one more and thought I'd give this place a shot...but yes what a waste of time. Nothing burns me more than some jerk who disrespects my service. I nearly lost my life in the military and happily sacrificed attempting anyone else not to lose theirs. I don't need idiots like this guy...none of us do.
