Very nice although it has changed so much since I was last here 20 years ago as a kid. I guess as places become more popular this is what happens, they become overcrowded and somewhat loose their charm... I wish museums would somewhat restrict access to a certain number of visitors per hour so as to make the visit more enjoyable. Otherwise, besides the crowds, kitschy souvenirs and church it is a unique place worth visiting if you find yourself in this part of the country.

You can see Marry Cemetery and Peri-Sapanta Monastery.... The cemetery it's not clean and the church looks like a Christmas Tree. I saw long time ago how beautifull was that place. If you want to buy for 2 pers traditional IE shirt you have to pay like 60 euros. A little bit expensive.

It is a lot of history, the famous Marry cemetery the tallest wood church in the world. As you go offroad they got waterfall and beautiful views.

Probably the most beautiful cemetery in Romania. Cimitirul Vesel in Săpânța is the graveyard where people thought well ahead how they want to be remembered after they die. They have made a very orderly cemetery complete with wood carved crossed that carry a message of the deceased on who they were in life, what they did and what are they worth being remembered for. The entrance fee is RON 5 (EUR1). Plenty of handcrafted stuff can be bought in the vicinity of the cemetery.
