Small airport, very easy access to everything.

Nice looking airport with friendly staff. Had a little problem paying for my parking ticket as the machine doesn't accept cards or 100zl notes but luckily a nice member of staff pointed out that I could pay at the desk for the ticket. 55zl for a weeks parking outside the main entrance it would cost you that to park for 20mins at any of Londons airports. On several occasions picking up friends and relatives I haven't even had to pay for parking as 15mins is free. Apart from the last 30km of the journey being on roads that were more potholes than tarmac its a nice drive too.
Nice and quick, just a shame only flight available so late, for PPL with kids is bad

PL (with English translation) Lotnisko super - male, szybkie, ladne. Na terenie lotniska jest jeden sklepik przy Przylotach, na pierwszym pietrze jest maly bar, ktory sprzedaje cieple dania, sa tez tam wygodne sofy do siedzenia/lezenia (szczegolnie dobrze, jak sie czeka na pociag 1 godz). Jest jeszcze jedne male bistro, ale to juz w hali wylotow i tam tez jest male Duty Free Zone. Lecialam tam ze Stansted i wszystko bylo ok. Jeden minus - za daleko od centrum Olsztyna i moze przydaloby sie wiecej znakow dla zagranicznych turystow(np gdzie kupic bilety na pociag -tylko u konduktora), ale z czasem mysle, ze to wszytko sie rozwinie. The airport is great - it is small, quick and beautiful. There is one shop on the ground floor next to the Arrivals, there is also a little bar on the first floor serving hot food, teas, coffees etc. There are some nice comfy sofas on the first floor, too(very convenient when you have to wait 1 hour for a tram to the city centre). There is one little Bistro-type shop in the Departures lounge and a small Duty free shop. I have used it once so far and everything went smoothly. There is only one downside - the airport is 1 hour by tram to the city centre of Olsztyn and there aren't many sings for the foreign tourists (ie. Where to buy a ticket for the tram, which you can only do onboard). Overall I am happy and would happily use it again.
The airport itself is new and nice-looking. However, the passport control on arrival is a nightmare. It can take up to an hour to get through as there are only two officers checking passports. Given that they are quite slow and there are over 100 people waiting, it can take an hour longer to get through...
Small airport, but very new, clean, contemporary and efficient.
