Well the station seems okay enough on first glance. It's a very basic single platform unstaffed station. It has the standard facilities such as a ticket machine, seating, shelter and live departure information. Step free access is available too and the station is great for trainspotting too.

Syston is a brilliant railway station! For all those railway enthusiasts I recommend this station as it's on a curve making for some really, really cool shots/clips. For those looking here to see if there's a good service and how accessible it is continue reading! The station has a regular service on Monday-Saturday but the service takes about a 2 hour break around mid-day. Apart for that there is a service in each direction every-hour. No services run on a Sunday. The station is a singular platform and easy to get to the platform with a long ramp. There is station facilities such as a ticket machine, benches, a waiting shelter, bike racks, a help point and a timetable making it easy for you to travel from this station. Overall the station is great! I recommend this to railway enthusiasts/ train spotters and those locals looking for a way to travel, Syston is good for you! Taylor
Best place to watch trains
At Syston Station Have good platform 1 and 2 systems East Midlands Trains For Leicester to Lincoln Central
This is a good spot for spotting trains although the station itself could do with more trains stopping at it which may mean another platform would be needed. :)
