I needed a replacement valve stem for a 40-year-old Kohler tub valve. Mike identified the product at a glance, knew it was not in stock, and knew how long it would take to get (2 days). The valve stems cost 50; my only other alternative was to tear out the ceramic tiled wall and replace the entire valve. You can imagine how grateful I am. I have repaired plumbing in many locations on the east coast but have never received such knowledgeable and effective service.

Vescera owner saved me from a serious repair. I searched big stores and the salesmen have no clue. Though he cannot get the part, he dismantled the important part and advised me to install. It worked wonderful. I will recommend this store by all means. He saved me couple of hundred dollars.

I've personally dealt with Mike Vescera and his staff for over forty years. Mike is the most knowledgeable plumbing supply guy in town. That is why everyone in the business knows him. This is why the clerks at the big box stores send customers to Vescera's when they can't solve your problem. They deal with all of the toughest plumbing situations and always have the correct solution. They have bailed me out of a number of nightmares over the years. They supply many many specialized repair items not available anywhere else. I could care less if the guy behind the counter smiles at me or not. Some days there are more important issues happening such as the river flowing through the ceiling into your bedroom. These guys are awesome
