Cozy, pretty place with an amazing kitchen and great staff. Service was quick and courteous in spite of having an almost full house in both of our visits. Eggs are definitely a specialty for breakfast, while all meats are stellar choices for dinner. Stopped in here for breakfast as it's downstairs from the Syracuse Marriott. A huge, airy place, we enjoyed its understated design and space. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of throughout our meal. There's a big buffet to take advantage of...which my husband enjoyed. And I enjoyed a fun Hawaiian omelet (think Hawaiian pizza). Everything was good and reasonably priced.

Met a friend for lunch today to check out Eleven Waters during Downtown Dining Week. They were offering Soup and Salad bar for 10 which is 2 cheaper than their normal menu pricing. Neither of us had been to Eleven Waters before. It was very nice but definitely had that hotel restaurant feel. We asked our server about the dining week special and she directed us to the salad bar. I honestly was expecting a larger selection, but it was decent. They had 2 lettuce mixes and maybe 8 or 9 possible mix ins including but not limited to onion, peppers, tomatoes, chick peas, croutons. They had a pasta salad and a broccoli slaw, 2 soups, rolls, and cookies. My only real complaint about the serve station was nothing was labeled. I asked the server walking by what the soups were and she didn't know and had to ask. There were 5 or 6 bottles of Dressing, again not labeled, so I picked one that was possibly a ceasar or house dressing. The taste of the salad was good. It was obvious that it was all fresh ingredients. The broccoli slaw had 0 flavor which was kind of disappointing. We both added salt and pepper to it (I never add them to my food) and it didn't really help much. I didn't care for the tomato bisque soup. It tasted more like pasta sauce to me than tomato soup. But I've never had a bisque version before so that may be how it was supposed to taste. The cookies and rolls tasted packaged and they weren't anything special. The service was fine. We had to ask for water refills which was kind of annoying because we got the salad bar so she didn't have to do much for us. I may try it again for something from the kitchen, but nothing about the place made me excited to go back.

American food... super good. Staff is always nice even when they have a full house. The staff was helpful and kind. Prices were decent.

The meal and service were equally fantastic! Salmon, filet and vegetables were all perfectly prepared and served. The beet and goat cheese salad over mixed greens with a light honey dressing was to die for!

Went here during restaurant week and it was a very interesting experience overall. It is connected to the Marriot and the atmosphere is nice and definitely gets the upscale vibe completely. The food was good and brought out in a timely manner but there were some issues like whiskey drinks I order were off and the food came out slightly cold. The attentiveness of the staff was appreciated and crowd in the restaurant was nice.

I made a reservation on Open Table and when we arrived we were seated right away. After that, it took a long time for our waiter to come to our table to take any type of order. Because of that delay, we were going to order our food when we ordered our beverages, but he quickly walked away after he took our beverage order. The staff seemed overwhelmed. However, there were at least 5 free tables in our immediate area. We knew people waiting for a table in the bar and it took them over 45 minutes to get a table. There were trays full of dirty dishes, napkins, glasses, etc that were overflowing onto the floor of the restaurant seating/eating area. Food wise, I ordered the half chicken, which was fine. Any my companion order the Bolognese, which was well like. And the prices were appropriate. The metro chic decor was well done.

Eleven Waters was convenient for breakfast and offered either buffet or menu items. It offered a very sleek, modern decor in contrast to the nicely restored hotel. We chose to order off the menu and the food was fine. With tip the bill cost around 30, about the same as if we had chosen the buffet. The Service was efficient, if a bit mechanical, but it was a busy morning. A little pricey for breakfast, but a good meal.

My husband tried to book the private dining room to host my birthday. Sean, the manager, was not in, so the dim bulb who picked up the phone took our name and number, promising he would call us back. He never did. Tried again to get in touch with him last night and another dim bulb picked up the phone and took another message and he still hasn't called. We're going to Phoebe's, which I suggest as much more reasonably priced, better service, nicer atmosphere. I won't ever go someplace I'm made to feel unwelcome - do yourself a favor and just eat someplace that wants your business. The Marriott should be ashamed they leased space to these dumb klutzes. Pass, pass, pass.
