Excellent wine selection curated by the passionate and knowledgeable owners, who are always ready to share their thoughts and findings and help find something to suit all wallets and tastes. Platters are smashing, well presented featuring carefully selected local produce. If you fancy it, the coffee's great too; add a cake or brownie and you're sorted. Wouldn't be without them, great guys and the shop's perfect for gifts!

A lovely spot for a glass or two of wine and a cheeseboard. Also the perfect location to pop in and pick up a bottle to take home. They have a great selection of local and English wines and are always happy to talk to you about them.
I’ve recently moved to the area and have visited Symposium a handful of times already. The selection is great and the staff are so helpful and provide really thoughtful recommendations. I’ll be visiting regularly so I can sample more of their selection and support such a great small business – and I really hope to try out the wine bar once the pandemic has passed!
