We were told that this was a place to make sure to visit if you're in town or close. We were in the Austin area visiting family and we decided to give it a shot, was the best decision of the trip. When you first walk in, you are hit with the beauty of the location first off. We were lucky enough to catch the sunset off the lake, was a perfect night. Then we get greeted by the staff, very friendly and because it's a family run restaurant you definitely feel at home. During the meal we were even visiting by two of the managers Sylver & Tori at separate times, just to make sure things were good. Now the reason for the visit was the food. Let me tell you, I've had better, but that's only cause my mother made it. The food was exceptional with no loss of imagination or flavor. I've included a photo of the piece of meat I basically ignored my wife for. You will pay a little more than some restaurants but you definitely get what you pay for. I can't wait to visit again and this time catch a show too. That's right one stop shop for dinner and a show date night!

The food is the best I've had in New Braunfels, seriously! My husband got the 8 course (small plates) with wine pairing, so I got to have a little taste of them all, and every single dish was incredible! I got the Risotto with Scallops, it was fantastic. My husband does not like scallops and ate his little plate and loved it! Also the bite of steak I had was heaven! On Tuesday they have %30 off wine (and the 8 course meal), so it makes the bottles very affordable. Our server was awesome, super nice and professional! Would highly recommend, we will be returning for sure!

Elizabeth was a charming, professional, conscientious server. Excellent array of choices. Compliments to the chef! Food was tasty and presentation impeccable. View (albeit winter chill) was the Texas Ski Ranch lake. Will definitely revisit!

Sylver Spoon is a unique dining restaurant in New Braunfels. I am a frequent diner outside the home whereby eating out is my entertainment. Sylver Spoon delivers the environment that I seek from the interior decor to the view of the man made lake and landscape. Service is key to a wonderful dining experience and this restaurant performs in an exemplary manner particularly with a casual vibe. Silverware is removed and replaced for every course and plates are regularly removed as opposed to the typical restaurant leaving me wanting to clear my own table or having to request removal. The food is wonderful with so many creative dishes and familiar staples which appeal to a wide range of tastes. We regularly attend the restaurants special dinners with wine. These dinners feature off menu items that are creative and allow you to explore different proteins and vegetables that you may not have previously tried. Sylver Spoon offers live plays on the weekends. Theater without the mediocre food consistent with other dinner-theatre concepts is a welcome alternative. I suggest arriving a couple hours before the play on the weekend to enjoy a courses meal and then moving to the cozy theater for an engaging play. Many are original works that magnify current social issues. This restaurant is a destination not to be missed and worth patronizing multiple times a month.
