Can't stress this enough... ...go to Sykes if you want delicious, inventive food, served by a local business. We've lived in Reddish for about 10 months now and always walked past, promising to eat at Sykes but not actually going. Decided to actually go in to the bistro evening today - so relaxed, with a welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food of course! At first I wasn't sure that they'd do vegan options - actually looked at the menu this arvo and to see that they do... and it's not just falafel! I had the small plates of fried polenta cakes with delicious truffled mushrooms (and I don't like mushies that much!), sea salted pardon peppers, and the hummus with housemade tortilla chips and crispy veg topping For the vegetarian and meat eater there's also a wide and vaired selection of food, especially in their bistro menu. Pictured for meaties is the calamari and pork belly which the carnivore bf loved. Really recommend it - so welcoming and friendly and the dishes are devine. Owners and chefs very kind and all ears for more ideas from their vegetarian and vegan customers. We'll be back for the evening menu again, and also the day menu of course - veggie breakfasts!
