Lovely staff,great food and setting. We had beautiful homemade soups,sandwich and super,warmed crusty roll and mini baguette. Can't wait to go back and get my loyalty card stamped again!! Keep up the fantastic job you are doing !!
Excellent café in Buttermere, often overlooked in favour of the more obvious cafe by the hotel. Good quality food with brilliant veggie and vegan options. A bit pricey but clean, lovely staff and good food. Their own ice cream is fabulous too.
Their icecream is amazing, especially the creme caramel... so good we came back on our last day to collect a tub to take home! Staff are fantastic, great homemade cake / pie selection and generally just good to support local businesses getting everything that counts right . We loved their farm collie who generally wandered around at home with the hub bub.... but this I thought summed up \a hard day on the fells\!
Visited here today 21st Oct what a great fined the sausage rolls and salad was orsam. We brought back some carrot cake which was fantastic. Staff are lovely it is really worth a visit. This is one place that I will remember of our trip to the lake district.
