A nice pub in rural suburbia with an extensive menu to surely suit all tastes? Sat outside, enjoying a pint and a couple of starters (whitebait and deep-fried brie) after a long walk around the adjacent Scadbury Park. Pleasant, helpful staff, if perhaps inattentive on occasions - 7' to get served, and 15' to lose any interest in whatever desert might have been on the menu. Would certainly go back there next time I am in the area.

Friendly staff. Good food and good selection of beers. Efficient lunch service despite being busy (popular). Location feels like a village setting. Felt very Covington safe.
