We just had a walk around this place. Very impressed with it. We were told that the restaurant served excellent food. Camping areas were well laid out.

We have been visiting this lovely place for the last 20 odd years. The staff are all very pleasant and friendly. Always ready to help and have time for a quick chat. They have seen my children grow up and will always tell them how well behaved they are, asking if they have caught any fish. The site is kept lovely and clean, plus the facilities you need as a camper or fisher person. The fishing is great, from catching hundreds of silver fish (and I mean hundreds) to carp that can be in the 20lb plus weight. Can’t wait for the summer for some great fishing.
Stayed in a log cabin, fine if you are there just to fish. Very basic, no grab rails in over bath shower, bathroom door didn't lock which was an issue, as we were 2 couples. Kitchen well stocked with equipment, however stainless steel spatula, caused nasty burn. Take your own bath mat and all toiletries. Very creaky floorboards.
I highly rate this place. Good fishing. Spot on facility. Verry helpfull staff .
Love the location,fishing is great,also close to a lovely village Burgh Le Marsh with 4 pubs,chip shop,excellent butcher, convenience stores and a historical windmill.You are also only 3 miles from Skegness so all in all a good place for nice break.
