Great atmosphere inside with candles and open fire. Friendly service. Food was delicious and great value. Huge portions, beautifully presented. The chunky chips were to die for - crispy on the outside and soft inside. Pie of the day highly recommended - with lovely light pastry. Fish and chips great too with fresh, crisply battered fish. Just great pub food served as it should be.

Fantastic pub with wonderful staff serving great food. Lots of consideration put into dealing with Covid procedures, making you feel safe. We are staying locally and have been twice so far. Both times the food was fantastic but today's Sunday Roast was exceptional. The village, the Sycamore Inn resides in, is beautiful too so what's not to love?

Located in Parwich, this pub serves locals and visitors alike with a familiar atmosphere. Perfect for a pint or a bite to eat before, during, or after a walk around the local dales and fields (including a close by Tissington trail). The menu has a host of carnivorous meals to advertise. Which initially was slightly concerning, I thought I would be reduced to the vegan option - soup, bread, and chips - but upon hearing I was vegan the landlady came back and offered me a couple of different options, not on the menu, that were vegan. I was both surprised and pleased, so if you are vegan yourself be sure to ask and they will be willing enough to provide. I myself was thoroughly impressed throughout. COVID controls are in place, with sanitiser strewn throughout, one way systems, and track and trace in place. This pub is also dog friendly (and they may grace you with their presence, as the picture shows!)

An all round fantastic place to visit. The staff were lovely, the place itself is gorgeously located and a lovely cute indoors. Would highly recommend if you are in the area and also would highly recommend the Hunters Chicken as that was absolutely fantastic. 5 stars all round from me!
