I have been with Alex for four lessons so far (1 per week). Starting as a complete adult beginner she was welcoming and really enthused to help me learn a new skill. I am enjoying each lesson...Alex is patient and encouraging. The lessons are structured to follow a adult level with simple tunes you will recognise, learning about placement and notation you learn a little bit at a time and if there are some parts that take a little longer to learn Alex will go at your pace and you will always recap 'sticky' bits at the next lesson. A keyboard at home isn't essential to start with but it will help you practice and progress faster, the same applies with the lesson book.
As an adult learning to play the piano was a little daunting! Alexandra has made it fun and structured the learning in a way that i think will lead me to a far better standard of play than i would be able to achieve otherwise
Alex is very friendly and knowledgeable, my daughter has been going for a few weeks now and is already playing a few songs. Would recommend.
