Not really for local community. Facilities poor and big hall floor is rarely Cleaned. It has a pub with membership that opens evenings and discourages newcomers. However, the organizers of the activities in the big hall deserve a big thank you - they Keep the place open and are proof That there is life beyond the walls of the pub!
Lovely line dancing group. Do not like the caretaker and friend sitting outside the open windows smoking while we are dancing as the smoke comes in. A healthy exercise venue is spoilt by this. An hour seems a long time for him having a coffee break!!!
Good beer great staff no hassle
Place is nice for a little party, not very big spacewise so make sure you don't get too many things or you won't be able to fit it. You have access to the kitchen and back garden where there's a nice pub and friendly staff.
