Classes really improve skills!

Our family has been attending Swimwest for over 18 months now and are extremely pleased with our experience. Our young daughter is learning how to be safe in the water which could save her life someday. The atmosphere at Swimwest is fantastic! The teacher and staff CARE so much about the children and it shows. We are always welcomed by name with a warm smile. We feel valued each time we walk in the door. The facilities are top-notch. The pool and communal areas are clean. The water is WARM and so is the air temperature in the pool area. The class sizes are small and intimate. Lots of one-on-one time. The value we receive from Swimwest is incalculable. I highly recommend!
SwimWest has been a phenomenal experience! My daughter has been going to lessons for about two years, and has had three different instructors who have all been outstanding. They are attentive with each child, patient, and enthusiastic. They really helped our daughter overcome her fear of the water by making swimming fun! And we have really appreciated the emphasis on water safety.
Swimwest Fitchburg has been an amazing place for our kids! We started our first at 9 months old and he has progressed rapidly through the levels. He is now 4 and has amazing confidence in the water, knows how to get to the edge or roll to float and can get about 10 feet across the water alone. Our younger one we started at 5 months and she is not yet 2 but swimming with a teacher and 2 other students. She also has learned to roll to float and put her hands out to get to the step. We have been very impressed with their flexibility in scheduling, their nurturing encouragement to make all kids feel comfortable in the water and the overall confidence and love our kids have learned to have for swimming thanks to the staff at Swimwest Fitchburg! Pros: The pool and area inside the pool are warm, the space is clean and the pool water does not hurt the kids eyes (just the right amount of chemicals), the teachers or deck person checks in with you about your child's progress, and the staff is friendly and fun - you can tell they enjoy their jobs! Cons: The weekends and evenings can be crowded but your child still gets the attention he or she needs in the water and classes can fill up quickly. *We love the Fitchburg location due to size and smaller community feel*
UNBELIEVABLE! My two young children have made so much progress in just a few weeks. It's truly astounding. I am so grateful for SwimWest!
