Sweetwater has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. I am a huge fan of the whole family of Great American Restaurants. Sweetwater has the secret to finding the best servers and best chefs. The food is always excellent and the service is always top-notch. On Valentine's Day, I placed a carry-out order. After the order was picked up, I received a call letting me know all of the order had not been given to me. First, I was happy that the staff caught the mistake before I did. However, I was super impressed by how well they handled the mistake. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy--with no input or suggestions from me. Instead of being upset and frustrated about a missing entrée, my boyfriend and I spent our evening eating and talking about how delicious food was and how we can't wait to go back.

This is an excellent restaurant, across the board with all menu items, including appetizers. Come early and get the pulled pork sandwich with crispy sweet potato fries. The hamburger selections is top line, and if you want to go all the way get the drunken ribeye. Yes, this is a real brewery with 10 fresh craft brews always on tap, with the seasonal selection that includes some serious award winners from over the years.

Sweetwater Tavern is a great place to get meals for family or when dining solo. On this day, the tavern was booked solid, reservations would have been a good idea, but who knew. In any case, I did the take order, which was extremely quick and professional. Of course, I would have to drive around for curbside pickup because it was crowded from all the people checking in or just making reservations, which was a two hour wait time. However, when your this popular, the masses will come to patronize. I ordered the filet of steak, vegetables and mashed potatoes, although I was hoping for asparagus as the side, but it wasn't available, so that was the disappointment. The Sweetwater Tavern did have outside seating, but that too was filled to the maximum and no surprise there - as this restaurant serves very his eats astigmatism at a cost. For me alone it was nearly 24. So, if you're planning to eat here with your family you pocketbook or wallet week take a hit, as it can get expensive for a family of four. There is some good news, Sweetwater Tavern had a sister restaurant a few steps away taking walk-ins so that should be a good trade-off. So definitely a thumbs up. And don't forget to ask for utensils as it wasn't provided on this visit.

Our visit was a little disappointing. It had been 7 long years since I last had the opportunity to dine at Sweetwater and I was very excited to be there to celebrate my upcoming birthday. We were seated out in the bar area where there was a slight breeze on our legs and a heater cooking our heads. The food was delivered quickly and accurately. It was all very delicious, just as I had remembered. The experience went down hill at the end. I was enjoying my time with my daughters, that I don't get to see very often. The waiter had dropped off the check and assured us that he was still there if we needed anything. I filled out the tip, signed the check and had it sitting in front of me. Shortly thereafter, the waiter walked up to the table, snatched the paper and pen from in front of me and said \I'll take that.\ I thought maybe his shift was over and he was trying to leave, but I noticed he had other tables that weren't done either. It came across as very rude, even my daughters noticed. We left feeling a bit offended.

We were on our way home and found this delicious place. The food and the service was excellent. We had lobster bisque and the Tex-Mex egg rolls and a pork chop with a baked potato and the side of their tomato cucumber and corn salad which also had avocado and asparagus along with feta and Greek olives and it was absolutely to die for. We live 3 hours away and I will definitely remember it from now on during my travels. All safety precautions taken and social distancing was in place. GREAT JOB GUYS!
