For the last three years we have been doing long term stays in Sidmouth. We always rent from Sweetcombe Cottages. The houses have been perfectly adapted to our needs. They are very comfortable and cozy. We have been very satisfied with the treatment received by Tracy and her team. They are one of the people responsible for making our stay in Sidmouth so special. This year is the 5th time we have used the team at Sweetcombe Cottage Holidays to provide a much needed break. They really are a fantastic firm. Nothing is too much trouble, enquiries are answered swiftly, every effort is made to provide what you need. They are great fun too. This year we were worried about staying away given Covid but we needn't have worried. The cottage was spotless and every effort had been made to ensure we had a good supply of cleaning materials and disinfectant. Everything works as it should and if you do have a problem (we broke the front door key) they were only too happy to help out, with urgency. We highly recommend this proper business.
Lyme Bay cottage was lovely and well furnished and we really enjoyed our stay, however the cleaning on arrival was not up to standard with food on surfaces and taps and cupboards sticky in the kitchen. Lots of cleaning materials provided though. Not good considering extra cleaning is supposed to be in place for covid. Parking is also terrible, basically 90% guaranteed not available and street incredibly narrow. Nearest long stay car park is a 10 minute walk and 55 for the week. Check parking arrangements on google earth before booking.

Extremely helpful in the present situation when holidays had to be postponed and rebooked.Have been using Sweetcombe cottages for many years and their customer service is excellent when contact is needed.The houses are sparklingly clean and accurately described and we’ve always had a fantastic holiday.
