Food was amazing and table service was great.. even with the current restrictions, due to COVID, there was availability to book that day. Friendly staff and very clean. Would definitely visit again.. love the Toby Carvery

All you can eat breakfast. It's abit hit and miss with the food items on the breakfast really. First time we went up I found the bacon to be hard and dry like it had been there a while. There always seemed to be a wait for the fried eggs but they were cooked perfectly. The best part of the breakfast was the sausages. They really were delicious! The hash browns were nice and I enjoyed the potato in egg. The second time we went up, the bacon was fresh and a lot tastier. The breakfast is tidy enough for the price and they have an offer on at the weekends where kids eat free.
A meal during the pandemic. Everything had been thought about for safety of both diners and staff. (Although, I do think that when you are ordering, or talking long term to staff that the diners should be wearing masks for the member of staffs safety - just my opinion!) The food was fantastic and served responsibly for both staff and diners. The atmosphere was great and all the staff were really friendly. Thanks Cockleshell
Lovely vegan choice. The Christmas pudding with soya custard was to die for. Lovely waitress very good service and what a helpful person.
I've had to update this review many times as this place is very hit or miss. I come here for breakfast and carvery loads and the majority of time it's very nice. However today (12/01/19) I was very disappointed. Came for a carvery at around 5.30pm as we got the counter to get our food I was told there was a wait on Yorkshire puddings. 10 minutes later once the Yorkshire's did arrive they were soggy and undercooked and my food was getting cold/ already eaten. (Look at the attached picture. If you are a Toby regular you will see the difference from what they usually look like) a stark contrast from the usual light fluffy Yorkshire's these were inedible. Furthermore the pepsi refill I ordered was flat. Even after asking for it to be changed it was still flat. The only positive I can draw from this disappointed of a meal is that as usual the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. However, overall this place is slipping from the standards it used to have. It pales in comparison to other Toby restaurants such as the one in Bridgend which is by far the best one I've been too. Would happily drive from Swansea to Bridgend just to visit the Bridgend restaurant as I know I can guarantee an excellent meal there.

Lovely place, great food and top level service. Sue was brilliant couldn't be any better help to us. I have just got to mention water and cheesecake, highly recommended A.
Food was really nice everyone in party enjoyed 2 ppl had dessert which looked really good. Would recommend to anyone thinking of going to book in advance as they can only do parties of 6 atm
