Good variety of meals on the menu at very reasonable prices. Quick service, friendly staff. Clean and tidy in cafe and toilets. Table service, so no queueing. Tasty breakfast had. Would recommend.

Nice and clean, quick easy and nice menu with friendly staff. Could have one table less in the area though as many go in with prams like us and the place can feel cramped.

I Visited ‘The Cafe’ in Pontarddulais, this morning, for the first time. I wish I’d gone sooner. I just happened to be walking past and spotted a couple of mates in there, through the window, tucking in to a cooked breakfast. I thought, I could do with one of those. I popped in and immediately noticed how immaculate the tables and chairs looked, how clean and spacious the room looked and great to see an open kitchen with smartly dressed staff. They also have high chairs. I ordered the large breakfast and a mug of tea. Which took only minutes to come out, considering there were about another 10/15 people in there. I also noticed there were outdoor tables available. My breakfast was great, I had to leave a slice of toast as it was so big, but well worth the 6 odd. Good clean breakfast, no grease and fried eggs, cooked to perfection. I studied the ‘Saturday breakfast’ menu and also noticed they have a full Vegetarian breakfast on offer which sounded lovely. The staff were very friendly and service came with a smile, so of course, I put my change in the tip jar, at the end. I’m looking forward to returning with my family or mates, for another fab breakfast and will be going in on a weekday to sample the lunch menu. I highly recommend ‘The Cafe’ and the large breakfast. I’ll be telling my work mates about it on Monday, they all like a good breakfast. About time we had a cracking cafe in the Bont. I hope it turns into a Gold Mine. They deserve it. Best Wishes, Mike Hart.
