Visited this poorly run supermarket on the last Friday of October. Bearing in mind this is payday for most people it was unsurprisingly busy. Now taking the above into account, why oh why did the store manager not have all the tills open? This annoying fact was compounded by the checkout girl having a good old chinwag with the customer in front whilst the que got longer and longer. Now we all know we have to keep our distance and wear protective masks during these difficult times so it seems illogical to make customers wait more than necessary in an area that is high risk by not having all the tills open. Maybe they don't have enough staff. That may be so but bearing in mind lots of people have been made jobless by covid there is no excuse for an outfit the size of Tesco not to have enough staff. I'd bet lots of people ( including myself who was made jobless because of the current pandemic) would relish the chance of employment even at Tesco. I'd also like to point out that on many occasions this particular store has failed to stock the items I want. As well as this id point out that yes. Books, stationary, electronic and kitchen goods as well as clothing are considered non essential items and are not being sold. But... When did chocolate, alcohol become essential? Meat, poultry, fruit, vegetables, dairy cereal, bread tea coffee and personal hygiene products are essential. Not chocolate. Ice cream. Alcohol soft drinks!

Staff are all great and doing a good job. Shelves today well stocked, got everything I needed, plenty of tills open. I have noticed that prices are creeping up though.

Store stock even worse post lockdown. Been trying for days to buy instore bakery rolls. Arrived yet again today, nice and early to find an early 1980's Moscow bread queue. I asked Vladimir how long it would take for the rolls to be replenished. I got a shrug. On a serious note, your prices are constantly increasing as produce quality decreases. I wish you guys would shut shop and allow a Sainsburys to take your place. Sick of being ripped off.

Tesco has done a great job in organising the store to keep people safe, I've seen for myself some of the things the staff have to put up with. There's always one that thinks this is a joke.. Coming the wrong way round the store, and reaching for things in front of you. Its not rocket science. Just follow the arrows... Thanks to the staff for trying to keep food on the shelves. Your doing a great job.. Hope this nightmare will be over soon stay safe and take care. And for that one person, stay at home.
