Decades ago my dad and I would cycle along the front from Sainsbury's car park down to Mumbles and back. Over the years it's been great to see the disused industrial plots turn into apartment blocks and homes which brought extra places to eat and drink. A very good place to take a walk or bike alone or with friends and family whatever the weather.

Great place for a walk plenty of cafes restaurants for food and drinks. Close to the beach
Nice place to have a walk around look at the boats and when covid over some bars and restrunts to eat out at
Swansea Marina is a fabulous place to visit at any time, but in the sunshine it is heavenly. Walk all around the marina admiring the boats of all sizes and the schools of mullet, then stop halfway for a pint and lunch at the Pump house, before making your way around the other side and back to the ample car-park. The marina has several shops and amenities including hairdresser, barber and grocery shops. A thoroughly enjoyable walk and a nice sit down too.
Ideal for a brisk walk and (depending on time's) a good strong coffee (The Swigg), or a bite to eat - various eateries (subject to Covid restrictions). A small Co-op that sells all you need and Sainsbury's nearby too. Walk over the Trafalgar Bridge and take a peek to see if you can spot a seal, comeran (bird), porpoise, dogfish etc or to take a short wait while swing bridge's open to allow marine traffic through.
