I would not recommend this business following the appalling customer service skills I observed today. I respect its a busy time of year for fancy dress shops. However, when people chose to spend their hard earned money in a store that has no understanding around communication and charges well over the odds for costumes, it makes you question how such businesses continue to trade. Many of the items sold are available at blue banana, where they charge a fair price and have good attitudes. They don’t promote child labour, nor do they encourage poor child behaviour. What I over heard and witnessed was shocking! There are many companies in the U.K. that promote customer service skills, I would recommend said staff attending such training. Such businesses, should remember they are not above the British public, who have a choice where to spend their money, hence the closure of independent companies! I also think the way said child spoke to customers was disgusting. I would be ashamed and deeply saddened if one of my children behaved in such a manner! If you need costumes there are cheaper and better quality services else where! I hope for the shop to survive, they are able to reflect on their attitudes and provide examples of appropriate communication skills not just to customers, but for said child to mirror.... shocking attitudes, shocking behaviour and shocking examples of role model for children and customers! Unfortunately what I witnessed during my time at the store was disgusting, I chose to spend my hard earned money elsewhere! Deeply disappointed
Didn't even bother going as reading the reviews left by others the store owner is a real grumpy sod and their staff aren't helpful and just as moody. If people are leaving bad reviews and then the likes of myself see these reviews left by others doesn't do your business any good whatsoever.
Great shop with huge choice and the lower was fantastic, even giving me discount!
