Took the grandson, nearly two years old, there. Excellent for young children with train, playground and lake but not tacky and still essentially rural. Strongly recommend.
Great place, staff are great and the train ride is a great alternative from walking from the car park. They even have a carriage to put picnics and push chairs in. At 4 for the whole family it is also very well priced.
It's good to see the miniature railway running, very pleasing place to visit such wide open spaces you are not hemmed in. Keep a lookout for the heron
