Jane Linger actually....absolutely great to have Country Foods open in lockdown. Some good fresh fruit and vegetables as well as all the usual health food things and many weighed up items. They will take an order by text and have everything ready for you to collect if you prefer not to wait

Need to join the 21st century. Your 5 minimum card payment is just daft. It’s surprising common though in Swanage. There are great card terminal deals out there please take advantage and take cards without exception. That’s the point of contactless to use for small sales. The charges are not high. The first rule of retail is to put the minimum barriers in front of a customer. I walked over the road and bought the same product you refused to sell me on a card in Budgens for less and with my card. Visitors to Swanage do not necessarily have pockets of loose change.
Great selection of vegan products, and the freezer is labelled as containing vegan and dairy ice cream, so I naturally took a look. However, it seems an employee was storing unlabelled, very poorly wrapped (one layer of a flimsy carrier bag?) meat in there. Ribs. Gross. Disgusting. Totally puts me off my food and the shop in general. Great they're trying to serve vegans, but randomly chucking poorly wrapped ribs to shock the vegans in the frozen pic n mix is a poor joke. Gone to the Co-op instead.
Everything you would want from a health food shop but on the off chance it’s not there it won’t take them long to get it for you!
We did go there for lunch. The interior is simple but appealing, service was prompt and flawless. We had a Jacked Potato with Brie, Grapes and Pears (comes with a really nice side salad), and the Fish Pot. I would go again with the Jacked Potato, but both have been very tasty.
