Always a smooth operation. Interested to see they have installed a ticket machine for pedestrians/cyclists on the Sandbanks side. Loving the fact that the chain ferry continues to operate during the 2nd lockdown providing alternative areas for locals to take their exercise.

Regular service, quick crossing, fair price
Great service, only 1 each way for foot passengers and cyclists.
Great little adventure over to the Sand banks. Friendly staff at the gate, really well managed and organised.
Great fun ferry. You can get out of your car to watch the the various boats go by. Only a few minutes from one side to the other, but it can be up to an hours wait to board in peak summer holiday times. Quicker to drive round!
