This place has a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit here. Staff were very friendly and safety measure as being well executed. Roast dinner was delicious! Brownie wasn't the gooeyest, but mixed with the ice cream was lovely. Portion sizes were huge too! Definitely a place to visit.

Beautiful Sunday roast. The beef was delicious, best we've had for years and worth the money. Lovely friendly service from the waitress and great little kids play area. We'll be back often! Thank you very much.
Great pub! Staff are lovely and coping well with the current restrictions in place. On a sunny day the outside seating area is fantastic with lots of seating options. The food is always good and being able to bring dogs is even better!
Just met up with good friends after shielding for four months. It was so nice in the garden. Tables all clean and well separated. Ordered from the outdoor bar. All in all a very pleasant time and well worth a visit.
On the Cask Marquee Ale trail and, as a result the ale should always be exemplary, but if this is your sole reason to visit, it's best not to show too soon after opening time - they take their time to draw off the overnight beer in the pipes.........and have no scruple in serving you some. Otherwise it's a good place to visit and have an al-fresco meal when the weather is nice (remember nice weather?) The food is good and also caters for most of those with finicky perceptions on what is good to eat. There does seem to be a large turnover in staff though - it would be good to visit and greet someone I'd seen before.
