Love going here. Friendly welcoming pub. Clean and fresh decor. Food is fantastic and the Pizza is to die for... literally. Its so big and tasty. And as a bonus they'll box it to go for you. But if you're not into Pizza the menu is varied and they are very popular for their Carvery. Top tip: Book your to avoid disappointment.

Social distancing between tables did not exist so didn't feel safe. Extensive waiting time for meals when not busy. One meal was dry the other tasteless. On a positive note the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Our first visit here, and I was really very impressed. We both had the carvery, and we both said how tasty and filling it was. Good choice of meats and vegetables. Both full platefuls. The front of house service was impeccable. Credit to Rebecca and all the staff. The children's meals were great too. Look forward to visiting again.

Visited last weekend, I was shocked at how busy it was. Having worked in restaurants in the past, you could tell straight away that they were understaffed especially with the way they have to serve the Carvery. Fran was our waitress for the evening and she was great, super attentive and friendly. Pizza was really tasty and the service we received made for a lovely meal even in the current circumstances.

I rang the restaurant before arriving and was told that they didn't have any space but they may have room in the bar area where you can order food and drink with waitress service. We arrived and was asked to wear masks before entering and our details were taken for track and trace due to covid 19. We were taken to our seat and were asked our drink orders and then food orders just after. We order a standard carvery and when it arrived it looked delicious. You could have a combination of meats and you tell the server what you won't eat and they bring it over. The meal was absolutely lovely and very filling, there was so much choice and a treat for a roast on a Sunday. We didn't have a pudding so we paid at the bar and left. Such a lovely meal and setting. Highly recommend
