Moira Furnace is a great place to visit, I went whilst it was wet and cold but it was still a good place for a walk. There is a forest with different things to look at and a playground just round the corner for children. The furnace itself is very big and interesting and the canal is a lovely place to take a walk.

Great playgrounds for both little and big children, lovely walks through woods and along the canal tow path. Canal boat rides in (a covid free!) summer and a lively little cafe.
Museum has #WW1 kitchen. Good car parking for a walk by the canal.
A lovely walk on a lovely day. Adequate parking and beautiful surroundings! Nice by the canal and a good walk had by all!
