Lovely place and nice food
like
We have been to this place before, but it seems that the standard has worsened. We ordered a burger, which was quite good, and is the reason for the lone star we have given. We also ordered a pizza, vegetarian pizza for the vegetarian half of us. We were a little bit dissapointed that some of the vegetables were from the can, but othervice the pizza was ok. But, when we were almost finished eating we discovered a slice of ham on the pizza. We asked the waiter how this could be and he said it was not a problem, it was probably just from the knife, that was also used for other pizzas. We asked why they dont clean it before cutting vegetarian pizzas, and to him this was a ridicolous question. We should have told them that we didnt want ham on our vegetarian pizza!!! When the vegetarian got angry, he offered to make a new pizza if this was such a problem, but we were not interested. A simple apology would have been all that was needed but he was still insisting that they hadnt done anything wrong. So, this was the last time we will visit Cafe Arthur.
Love their pasta dishes and also they make a good pizza.
