Parents had nothing but issues with their bathroom installation. What was supposed to take 2 weeks took over 2 months and the job still wasn't completed to a good standard. Lost count of how many different units we had due to them constantly arriving damaged or not being fitted properly, only to be told we were being \picky\ for what was essentially an 8,000 bathroom, and we were left to just accept it. Floor grout started coming up after only a week, which they eventually re-did, only for it to end up the same a few weeks later. Wall grout was left smeared across a number of tiles, which we've still been unable to remove to this day. No one ever came out to quality check the job like we were promised, but it was still apparently signed off as though they had. 2 years on and the shower has now packed in, just 5 days out of warranty (spoke to numerous CS reps who each gave us different answers as to how long our warranty was... 2, 5, 3, then back to 2). After a weekend of waiting for a phone call we spoke to a very unpleasant and unhelpful person named Donna at the Sutton-in-Ashfield branch, who basically told us there's nothing they can do and it's for us to sort ourselves. My mother has just come out of hospital after a major operation and has been advised to bathe daily to avoid infection, which is obviously impossible without a working shower. Overall, a very unprofessional service with unprofessional results. Avoid!

What has happened to a DIY store to become this much of a mess? Potholes in the carpark,builders rubble and other rubbish strewn on the grass,fences down and a sorry state of affairs.Staff sat on pallets looking at phone waiting for click and collect orders,no pride in the area they are working,aisles with products in a \it doesn't matter position\ and to finish you need to wait in a long queue as there's only one person to work on the cash desk to take your money!!
Usually use Mansfield branch Chesterfield road which are very friendly and helpful... Called into sutton in ashfield branch today the bathroom department was very unhelpful and not very friendly a man spoke to us if we were worthless told us the bathroom department was closed I was going to order a new shower unit ..now sorted at b and q
Absolute waste of a journey. Went to my local store for some \kiln dried logs\...... what a joke. The ones I went for were on offer so thought they were a good buy. Firstly none of the staff knew were they were. Eventually one member of staff decided he knew where they were, and said they were in the warehouse. He asked how many we wanted and said he'd fetch them for us on a trolley. A few minutes later he appeared with the trolley and logs. Great I said, thanks alot. Hold on a minute he said I've just got to clean the bags off cos they're ditched, they've been outside all year! So I asked if they were wet then and he said potentially yes. I told him that defeats the object of buying kiln dried logs then, that state on the bags that they have less than 20% moisture in them. I left it at that and walked out. Seriously need to buck their ideas up. If I could have given zero stars I would have, but doesn't allow it.
Website advertised 2 portland toiets, drove 18 miles one way to find both boxes opened and toilets damaged. Update your website Wickes. Hour and a half I'll never get back
