Sussex Solar provided a prompt and professional service and replacement of a PV Inverter, the original having lasted 10 years before quietly passing on! Excellent and friendly service.
Our solar panels were installed about nine years ago and we have been very pleased with them, but the company that installed them is no longer trading in our area (Horsham, Sussex). A few years after it was installed, the system developed a fault, so I contacted Sussex Solar to see if they could help. I found them very competent, friendly and professional. They diagnosed the problem and did an excellent job in rectifying the issue. Recently (July 2020), we had another problem with the system, so went straight to them again, as we had been very pleased with their work on the previous occasion. They found two issues, first that a number of pigeons had been nesting under the panels and secondly a faulty Inverter unit. They cleared out all the detritus accumulated by the pigeons and installed anti-pest netting around the panels. This was made of very strong stainless steel wire mesh. They also replaced the original inverter with a new one which they supplied and then tested the whole system. They were very helpful, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous throughout the assignment. We would be very happy to recommend them to anyone else who has problems with a solar PV system. We will certainly continue to use them in the future and feel that we are lucky to have found them.
We had an air source heat pump installed seven years ago, and have been delighted with it. The company that installed it, and the panels, no longer service this area, but I was fortunate enough to find Sussex Solar in my area. They came to service the system in 2019 and I took out a contract with them so that they would come out if there were any problems. They have just done another service, taking great care because of the current lock-down. Dom and Fraser needed access into the loft, but the light was not working. They had torches but offered to clamber across the loft to fit another bulb for me. I have always enjoyed professional and friendly service from this company, and as I hope to downsize, I shall certainly want them to install solar units in the next house.
We are very pleased with our installation of both PV panels with Tesla powerwall and a Solar Thermal system. The team were very efficient and completed the installation within the agreed time. Andy was excellent in both explaining the system in advance and advising on location of the equipment as well as ensuring we understood how it all worked before he left site. We would thoroughly recommend both Sussex Solar and the products they install ... we're loving the Tesla app showing us how much energy we are generating and how it is being used. Thank you.
