Belated review but it's my duty to warn others. At my 1st apt regarding lumps on my dog I was told they were fat lumps and I should see how they progress. I rang again awhile later when my dog started to limp. They told me they can't operate without seeing him again so I made a 2nd apt. At the 2nd apt for the lumps.... I turned up slightly early and was not allowed in but instead had to ring the them from outside. I don't carry my phone in public for safety and coz I barely know anyone. Another person waiting saw my predicament so rang. I waited in the cold for 1h and was left outside for the apt. They couldn't find the lump on his foot and told me I would have to pay for 3 biopsies. I didn't have that money so it was a wasted apt. They did however suggest painkillers. I decided OK as I wasn't completely wasting the apt fee. I later looked online at the true cost of the painkillers and found that I had paid almost as much in tax as they paid for the product. Pure greed!! I later rang to see how much 2 biopsies cost but was told 1-3 biopsies cost the same and was offered a discount on the apt to tell me the results. Unfortunately this was a pre-existing problem when I got him so insurance doesn't cover it. Whilst we struggle through Covid this place is fleecing us.

Thanks to Stephen and the team for the treatment that Murphy, our dog, has received over the years. He had 2 very awful lumps removed from his throat and bottom but went on for another 2 years. He had a peaceful, dignified end at home calmly administered by Stephen and Ellie. Susie Prescott

My cat is my world and I am very grateful to sussex coast vets for the ongoing love, treatment, care and support they've shown my cat shine, she is semi feral and can find situations with humans examining her very stressful but the vet and the team alongside are by far the best in this town
