Hands down best sushi in the city! The rolls they create really compliment the flavors of the fish, which is super fresh, instead of dumping a bunch of stuff together with heavy sauces and fried everything. They have a great cocktails, attentive staff and am awesome sake speakeasy, Booze Box, downstairs!

Solid spot, would consider revisiting if I'm in the area. Creative and classic dishes, more hits than misses. Scallops were outstanding. Relatively casual atmosphere without sacrificing service/staff knowledge or quality.
I visited Chicago for the weekend and stumbled upon this place when another restaurant I wanted to try was closed. It was very fortunate because the experience I had at this restaurant was superb! Service: I had an excellent waitress named Alisa who was very responsive and kind who showed me the best options according to my tastes. I'd recommend asking for her if you go. Atmosphere: we sat by the bar and I always appreciate when I can see the chefs cook. It's a sign the restaurant is confident in their cleanliness. The chefs were also friendly and social as we sat and waited for our plates. Food: The most important factor for any restaurant is the food in my opinion. Most sushi places I go to have very subpar apps and drinks, you mainly go there for the sushi and the sushi only. This place was much different. The chile karrage chicken was a very flavorful app that was just as good as the rolls and sashimi I ordered. The cocktail list was unique and blended well together both of the ones I had were excellent. All in all in excellent restaurant I plan on visiting them again next time I come back to Chicago!
The best sushi place in town. Truffle tuna is just placing you in heaven for a little ... AMAZING. Miso salmon, tuna micro greens and gyoza are my personal favorite.
Oh MY GOODNESS!! My BFF took me for my bday several years ago. We enjoyed ourselves immensely! Slightly pricey, but worth it!!! The sushi is the best!!! Service is excellent!!! We've been back several times and looking forward to returning!!!
