From the creator of sugar fish comes this hole in the wall sushi bar specializing in hand rolls. Great place for a date if you're feeling adventurous. I got the 6 roll course and it was incredible. So fresh and delicious and does not cost an arm and a leg. Self-regulating line was interesting and only wound up waiting about 15 minutes for 2 seats at the bar. I'd definitely come back and recommend this spot to others

Sushi Sasabune is is a small hole in the wall Japanese restaurant. But it one of the best I've ever had. Sushi Sasabune has a very short menu that consist mostly of just hand rolls. But there all great. I love eating there and I go back there all the time. Unfortunately the service isn't always the best. One time I asked for a bowl of rice but they said they could not give it to me because it was not on the menu. Other times I went they did but it still shows there isn't the most consistency. If you around though you should go because the food there is great.

This is clearly one of the most attractive place in the neighborhood. Always when I come there I am so pleased. They keep their very high level service and the topmost level of food they offer. You no doubt will love this place. Highly recommended.

SPECTACULAR! From the moment you walk in and see the “no sushi roll” sign, you know you’re at the right place. The servers are the nicest people ever! We had 1 Omakase and 1 Japanese Omakase, 10/10!!! Every course was amazing; but the tuna and shelled fish course was to die for!!!
