This is one of those places where you wonder why you don’t come more often. The best seats are at the sushi bar, where you’ll be entertained and amazed at the artistry of some of their specialties. We got there about 7:30 and were seated immediately, although the the place was full. Often a wait otherwise, but worth it.

Excellent food and service as usual. They have their safety procedures in place and a great amount of patience. Our server even overheard our conversation about the occasion being a birthday and took it upon herself to bring us a complimentary dessert. Top notch service! A great place to take a date! The atmosphere is perfect for it.

Consistently decent sushi for Richardson, Texas at a suburb price. This is the main appeal of this restaurant that’s been around for years because frankly there’s no competition in this part of town. The better restaurants are 20 mins south near downtown Dallas. The menu is the same for the past 15 years it seems. The sushi chefs are excellent. Front counter staff and some waitresses seem pretentious at times which is a big turn off.

I have been to this restaurant several times, and I am never disappointed. The prices are very fair (in my opinion), the quality of the fish is amazing, it is so tender and delicious! The service is efficient and the waitresses are very attentive. I always sit at the sushi bar, and the chefs behind the counter are not only talented sushi chefs, but they are very kind and funny! There is never any rush, and I love the orange slices at the end. I will continue to go here as long as it is open. This is the best sushi I have had outside of Japan.

This place is definitely my favorite sushi restaurant in the dfw area. The quality and love put into the food is definitely worth the higher price point. I used to go every other month or so but I hadn't been yet this year because of the pandemic. Finally decided to get something to go because I missed it so much. Food is just as good! I can't wait to go back to dine in as well. The scallop roll and the unagi nigiri are my absolute favorites.
