Delicious seafood in Surquillo market. Tiny little stall where you can sit at the counter and watch them prepare your food right there. They have a duo of ceviche and fried fish nuggets for 20soles and a trio witch also includes seafood rice for 35, all of which is super fresh and delicious. The trio easily feeds 2 people. I think this was the best food we had in Lima, including restaurants that cost 5-6 times as much.

What a great find. The reason I love the Internet. I was in the Indian market and starving and found this hole in the wall inside a different market. Very difficult for me to locate but well worth the efforts. Alex is a great chef. The people could not be nicer. Lady selling strawberries called the restaurant and they came and got me at the front of the market :) food was delicious. Will be back. Fresh and delicious. The best Scallops I ever had. Still attached to the shell when they were served.
This ceviche place in Surquillo market is delicious. Everything is fresh and beautifully prepared. We had ceviche, chicharron, and seafood rice which we loved. The service is also very friendly and accommodating! Definitely worth a meal if you visit the market. You can pay 20 soles for two dishes or get three for 35 (get a little more of each).
The food here was fantastic as well as the service. Everything I tried was seasoned wonderful and fried yuccas soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. They listened to what I like and accommodated my preferences. Everything cooked to order. Inside the market and can be tricky to find but worth it.
