Great food and great beer. A lovely pub with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. In the summer, the beer garden is one of our first choices

Food was not bad quality. Burger is soft and flavoursome, chips are nice and crispy, so why the two stars? My issue is PRICE. 16 for a pub burger and chips is way too expensive. There has also been a VAT cut. They should be passing on the savings. The coleslaw provided is also incredibly tiny. My other gripes is that there is no water option on the app forcing you to buy an expensive drink. I therefore purchase a 3 Apple juice and specified no ice. Woah and behold its half of ice. Nice pub trick for them to save a bit of money. Whilst eating I got asked if I was finished yet. When your charging 16 for burger and chips with no drink, please DO NOT RUSH me. Lastly, even though we booked in advance and we specified we had kids, we got stuck outside with the smokers on either side. Quite a bit of money down, the smell of tobacco at the back of my throat and still hungry, this place is definitely a one time stop only.
We have just go back from what was one of the best evenings out I have had in a long time. This is one of Surbiton s best kept secrets!!! We were luckily enough to be able to sit in their new converted barn/function room. The decor and Xmas decorations made the room so cosy festive we didn’t want to leave. The food we could not fault! Beef tortilla to start, the beef was so tender and the the sauces were just spot on! The ribs were again amazing and so tender, they fell off the bone. My daughters kids meal was again great and very tasty my daughter eat all of her 3 courses and left nothing. Great atmosphere to top it off and background music was really enjoyable. I will be back very soon for sure. This is one place you want to try if you haven’t already. Oh, staff were very friendly and offered a great service too.
One of my favourite pubs, i always make time to visit the antelope. It has a great vibe, great staff, awesome vinyl records playing, fantastic food (highly recommend the burger and also the fries with cheese and gravy) and great drinks, the big smoke beers they have on tap are awesome and should definitely be checked out if you visit! If your ever in the area pop over to the antelope for a great evening :)
Takeaway was Soggy, Stale and Cold. Food arrived on time but the request of no chilli jam wasn't listened to instead felt like doubled and due to this the burger bun soaked soggy and cold, chips felt like they was cooked hours ago. Would not recommend!
