The legendary martabak Bangka (sweet pancake originated from Bangka island) in Palembang city. This outlet is one of the three branches that is currently run and managed by their second generation. Following a rich and long-standing history, the brand started off well back in the 80s with merely 8 or so varieties of pancakes. It has since evolved and updated its spread to be more current, to be more appealing to the millenials (that means inclusion of nutella, blueberry jam, kaya sauce etc.). Their grated peanut powder is still painstakingly homemade up until now and secret-recipe butter blended weekly. I personally love their classic chocolate cheese raisins combo. Best seller usually involves plain ol' peanut. Taste wise need no introduction, it is so good that American residents were bringing these back home. They are available on food delivery platform.

Most juicy Bangkanese martabak ever. A must try for foreigners and locals alike. In addition to standard flavours, they also serve martabak's in pandan and brownies batters (add 5k and 10k IDR respectively). Nice taste and excellent texture.
