Sunny's Fryer is a decent chippy. They do good lunchtime meal deals. For example, mini fish and chips and a drink. Another speciality is the orange coated chips that they sell on a Wednesday. It's proximity to the Black Cross means that you can easily pop in between pints.

Went to sunnys tonight, as we've been saying we will go for weeks now. Have to say, the gentleman behind the counter, said we will not be disappointed, and he got that absolutely correct!! Fantastic service, most definately drive there again from where we live! Orange chips are to die for!! Divine!!
