Had to orders taxi after I broke down at Sainsbury’s (I was in a hire car as my other car had broke down) , had the kids in car for school run- so ordered a taxi to finish the run... got chatting to the driver and had been telling him about my bad luck and he could clearly see I was stressed as I was about to be stitched up for the repair on the hire vehicle) It was a very welcome pleasant surprise when he waived the taxi fare.! An act of kindness rarely seen these days. I didn’t get his name but he is a credit to Station taxis. Thanks again

Moved to an address recently and ordered a taxi to pick me up at Lidl and take me home, driver went the wrong way which incurred extra charges for the mileage/time on the road. When I next needed a taxi I was told it would arrive soon, only to receive a call back from them a minute later saying my \address is bad\. I queried this as I had just taken a taxi to the address, I was told that someone from my address had used their services before and not paid - stating there was over 10 owed. If the address was bad, why was I taken there? If they had the address, why not inform the police? I've used station a few times in the past and to be honest their service is very poor, most of the time (including today) I have to give the driver directions whilst in the car. I thought it was their job to know where they were going or at least use sat-nav. Won't be using again, there are much cheaper services elsewhere.
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU USE THIS TAXI COMPANY!! I accidentally dropped a small present that I had got for Christmas in the taxi that was worth more than 100 and unfortunately I didn’t realise until I got out and driver drove off. Rang station and explained, they tried to ring the driver but couldn’t get through so told me they needed to wait for their driver to answer. After 30 mins the driver finally answered and said he couldn’t find anything! I’m sorry, but totally unacceptable. I asked to see the security camera footage from the car but they denied my request. Never been so appalled by their customer service as girl who answered the phones was rude and really disrespectful. Totally no help what so ever. UPDATE: A year later and still no necklace. Reported this to police at the time and nothing from them either. Thought I would at least receive an apology from the taxi company?
What a wanted somthing droped off rather than risking my health getting in a taxi there and back Ian hung up on me twice. Social distancing he did not give a care but last l week a driver understood and done this xxx
