I live in Sunbury and used this library for the past 20 years , it is what it is , a small community library and will be limited to its number books, however saying that the amount of stock available is great. I have never found the staff rude offhand or rude towards each other ,they are helpful and friendly. We are very lucky to have a library easy reach for the nearest library is Staines and who wants to have to keep going there, although that’s the place to go if you need a large collection of study books. So long may we have this library on our doorstep. Although the children’s library is small it’s very well stocked and for any young children worth a visit.

Really disappointing library. They have stacks of kids books and adult fiction, but if you want anything else you're out of luck. We visited the kids room and were the only people in there - apart from two members of staff who chose to sit and chat about the other staff members, their own ailments and generally how unhappy they were. They had an empty office next to them that would have provided much more privacy but chose to stay in the kids room. After having to listen to 15 minutes of this, one of the members of staff then went down stairs and was extremely rude to the staff at the front desk. Overall it changed what should have been a nice relaxed visit into an awkward and really uncomfortable experience. Overall, we won't be coming back. When your non fiction sections have maybe 15 books per subject, it's not worth it, regardless of the issues that you seem to have with your staff. One star is generous.

This library is very accessible and the staff seem really helpful. However it is ironic that the staff make so much noise at the reception desk, chatting with each other so loudly and cuckling, that it is hard to concetrate. Considering that this is a small library and loud conversations can be heard by the whole library, I was expecting the staff to be aware and take steps to minimise any noisy disruptions. If you intend to get your head down to study, this is not the right place for you. I went there today to escape the noise at home, but I had to leave. I could have understood if it was kids that had come to the library and made noise, but the actual staff disregarding basic library ethics just annoyed me. I also intend to send them a letter to be mindful about the impact of their animated conversations.
