What a shame! I've been using this takeaway for over 30 years. It's one of the oldest Chinese takeaways in Clapham and over the years, the food was fantastic. Authentic Chinese cuisine at it's very best. Unfortunately, my recent visits have been very disappointing. On my last visit, the Sun Sun Special was extremely bland (Very poorly seasoned) and extremely disappointing. The rice was of a cheap quality and didn't taste nice at all. Other meals that were previously purchased also lacked that Authenticity that made this restaurant such a hit in the good old days. The standards needs to change. I've written this review because I would like to see an improvement as the competition is fierce.
Absolutely love this takeaway. Recommend the crispy chicken with chilli and sesame prawn toast. Even their egg fried rice is better than the average. Portions are a bit small though. Cash only. Highly recommended

Delicious chineese food, fast service and tasty. I loved the chow mein and fried rice, quite simple dishes but still very good.
