My first ever visit to an optician was actually recommended by Ed, outside of his working environment after he noticed me struggling to read... No pushy sales technique, just a little friendly advice. I’m approaching that age and guess I’m either in denial or just defiant. However... I did very much need glasses and am so glad I found Ed, Shane and the team. My eye test was thorough, simple and well explained. In fact, every step of the process was explained, alternatives and choices were always made available and simple to understand and when I finally (after less than a week!) got my glasses I must say the improvement to my life has been monumental. Overall, this is a lovely little business with superb customer service and real, honest, friendly staff. My opticians for life. Make them yours.

I have recently moved to Waltham Abbey and needed to find an optician. I stumbled upon Sun Street Opticians and decided to make an appointment. I must say I was extremely impressed with their expert service and help. It is a lovely independently run opticians and they have a fantastic range of glasses. I had my eye test and very happy with the level of service I received. The options for me and what I needed were explained extremely well. No rushing, they took their time and allowed me to try on as many pairs of glasses as I liked in order to find the ones I was happy with. I would not hesitate to recommend this Opticians, even if you don't live in the area.
I’ve been a client of this opticians since it opened and in fact followed the owners there. The care is exemplary. Always helpful when selecting frames and the optometry care first class as I have a non standard prescription. Despite moving an hour away these are the only people I trust with my eyes and my daughters. Great service with great professionalism and most importantly good humour.
Been coming here since I was a young girl and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Shane and Eddie are absolutely brilliant, really make you feel relaxed and are so friendly. The place is clean and tidy and carry a large variety of frames from budget friendly to high end so you’ve got a ton of choice. Very highly recommend visiting them and making them your regular opticians :)
There are people in life one is happy and comfortable with. Always polite, helpful, friendly and very professional. It is a modern business, but I have attended this opticians for many years. I am sensitive about my eye sight and trust the whole team. All up to date equipment to ensure there are no problems. Wouldn't dream of changing a good service.
