Never thought about reviewing my church, but although I have never been less of an evangelist in my life I am more inclined than ever to thank the leaders and members of this faith community open to believers, nonbelievers and all in search of Beloved Community or just a place to raise your kid/s in a society that on some levels doesn’t share your family’s values. We are forever grateful!

A warm and welcoming congregation accepting of all faiths. Guests are welcome.

One can find a warm community here at Beacon, and feel a part of a family of progressive ideals of social and environmental justice--a satisfying spiritual home with wonderfully edifying and life affirming services. Solid, sensitive, poetic, and relevantly vital sermonizing with great communal singing. There's spiritual depth, humor and fun to enjoy.

A great warming place for the homeless.

A good place with good people. The Religious Education program is excellent, with a large and vibrant youth group. The ministers and congregation are active in social justice causes. I have been attending for almost 30 years, and it's a real home to me.
