Hilly woodland set just a stone's throw away from Hastings town centre. Despite the locality to the town centre, this woodland is typically very quiet. There are signs scattered around explaining some of the features you might find in the woods such as the Bohemia Walled Garden, the Brisco Roman Bath replica and the Ice House (still not found that one myself).

This is simply an amazing tiny wild hilly forest with a few small lakes, plenty of trails and with little human intervention. If you look for peace and birds singing, few people and a remote natural oasis this is the place to go. Highly recommended for nature lovers. Unfortunately there are areas with litter, some, less nature respectful people are dumping.
Beautiful woodland walks near the town centre -sadly a minority of people have dropped litter.
Such a beautiful place to walk with a few hidden gems.. The replica roman baths and the walled garden are amazing and so unusual to find.. Great for quiet walks on your own or with kids and dogs.. Few benches scattered about so always a nice spot to take it all in and enjoy the peace x
