Great to be able to get it to go. The sushi was tasty and the instructions in the box were helpful. I wish the price were a bit lower for takeout since you have to eat it all at once and it's not as fresh as when you dine in and have it served course by course. But it still hits the spot as a special to go treat meal

Without a doubt, top quality fish and incredible packaging of to-go orders. Sugarfish is not our \go to\ sushi restaurant, however, it is one of our favorite special occasion dining treats. The quality of everything (fish, rice, sauces, presentation, etc.) is far superior to everything else out there. You definitely get what you pay for and we love to celebrate with a meal from Sugarfish!
Terrible experience tonight. 90 minutes from order to pickup, not including the 20 minutes it took waiting outside their parking lot because no one picked up the phone (4 tries) and one car was blocking 5 others in part because no one from the restaurant ever peeked their head out the door to be helpful. Disappointed.
I usually LOVE Sugarfish, but I feel like I got a Frankenstein box this time around. The salmon sashimi had a bone in it and the pieces weren’t cut through all the way so they were in a weird half separated strip. The tuna sashimi was also two very distinct colors (one the normal red and the other light creamy pink in color).
We were at Sugar Fish on Ventura Blvd. Its smaller than the other Sugar Fish location and hence can tend to get crowded. The food was nothing short of spectacular! They were excellent in accommodating the group too.
