Truly amazing park with undisturbed nature. Beautiful cafe has been created in the old train station and platform still remains. Signage highlights different walking paths based on ability that can be taken to places like long Melford, Sudbury, Cavendish. Good parking is available and very reasonably priced. I would expect the park to get busy in summer months. The castle remains is definitely worth the climb up the hill.

Nice for a country walk with family and friends. Unfortunately, none of the services were open due to covid, ie. The Cafe and toilets, but that's not their fault.

It's free apart from 2 to park your car for the whole day. History comes to life as you walk along a path into the countryside which was part of the railway than came from Cambridge..you can buy coffees,, tea light snacks at the old railway station building. A variety of butterflies along the walk from tortoise shell to some Red Admiral which landed on a bridge just in front of me. There's a small castle wall on a hill. Great place for fresh air and the kids can run around.

Really impressed by Clare castle country park, so much has been spent to make the place so nice and accessible, only 2 to park. Amazing walks and loads of information boards to tell you Clare's history and nature info. Play area lovely and we enjoyed the nature trail. Only negative was they have only opened the two disabled toilets which everyone has to use which created large queues and the toilet didn't seem to get cleaned very regularly.
