Awesome food, very welcoming staff members, regularly awesome atmosphere. They charge convenient rates and the food quality is good. I recommend this place.

While stranded in Cali due to Chicago weather I found this one of a kind treasure! Every detail was perfection. The atmosphere with fireplace, dried roses framed artwork and skulls designs all added to this Mexican twist full of flavor and style! We ordered tacos Panko breaded fried shrimp with pineapple Pico de Gallo with and without the tasty creamy sauce, Panko Coated cauliflower, avocado and jicama with and without the sauce and last but not least grilled shrimp with and without the sauce. Every morsel was amazing, we all agreed that we would return and share this hidden secret. Honorable mention were the jalapeño margaritas as well as the el Madora (not sure of spelling) drink tequila, strawberry and lime juice! My only disappointment was that the guacamole was chilled instead of room temperature or made table-side. The flavor was amazing we would’ve enjoyed it better if it hadn’t been so cold.
On a Tuesday night past 8:30pm the room was quite full considering it being a weekday but there are small tables when you enter so space wasn't large. Food wise, everything was delicious from goat cheese bread, steak plate with mash potatoes and the cheese plate with the awesome apricot jam and garlic tomato salsa.
Used the valet which is 7 in cash. Were greeted by the host right away. The service was very good. They were very attentive. Ordered the mussels, mole and lava cake. I have to say that the mole was so delicious. Very authentic. I would definitely return just for that dish alone.
Great place for date night. Loved the small plate version of chicken enchiladas, pork belly tacos, chips and really fresh guacamole. Easy parking with valet service. Definitely will return
